Finding Comfort in a Playmate

So I recently started watching the show Ke.ndra. I was never a fan of the Girl.s Ne.xt Do.or, and it would annoy me to even have it on in the background. I thought she was so dumb and her laugh so annoying. I don't know what has changed for me, but I find her life after baby fascinating! And she doesn't act nearly as dumb on her new show.

I was just watching the latest episode where her friends came to visit, and it made her feel unattractive and insecure about 7 weeks post partum. She was crying to her husband, and he was SO sweet to her, I started bawling! Obviously I have jacked up hormones these days, but considering I'm normally pretty emotional, being pregnant hasn't made me the sobbing mess I was anticipating. I just thought it was so normal that she was going through that, and she's a damn playmate! I think her hubby said something like "I can't relate to what you're going through, but I can undestand why you feel that way. You just had a baby, honey, give it time!" I was sitting at the table eating dinner with D after watching it, and I was still thinking about it, and I started bawling again! Good lord.

Earlier I had been trying on some jeans and dress pants and just feeling gross and fat. It is frustrating to work out and take care of yourself and not be able to really control it anymore. Obviously I'm not talking about weight gain in my stomach, as it's clearly there for a reason! The rest of me is following suit though! I don't mean to complain, I'm sure I sound like a whiny superficial brat to you guys, but it's the way I feel lately. Obviously I'm not a Playmate; I can't imagine how much harder is for celebrities to deal with gaining a bunch of weight and needing to look good for their career. And thankfully my friends aren't playmates either, so I have that going for me too. :)
