Right on time. Like clockwork. This is just getting so old. I feel like I have reached this point where I'm really starting to wonder if it will ever happen. For many of the months of TTC, I could still tell myself, "well, it hasn't even been a year yet; some couples just take longer". Well, a year came and went. Now it's been about 12 months. I realize that's not nearly as long as many others have been TTC, but since I have already done 6 months of Clomid and 1 month of Femara (with 2 IUIs and a trigger shot) without any success, it sure feels like it's been longer! I guess it's just starting to feel more hopeless. It's also starting to suck to pay so much every month only to get the same result we got on our own, for free! It seems like such a waste. I don't know how many more months to give the Femara before upping the ante. It seems from what I have read, that there has been a much higher success rate with injectables.
My REs said to just keep up with the same protocol, as it "usually takes a few cycles even if everything is perfect".....which it's not. My lining is still rather thin; it was only 3.9 on D11 this past cycle, but he said it had a "good pattern", and he didn't doubt it would thicken up in time for ovulation. umm...... what if it doesn't? I wish there was something I could do. I just feel so helpless. Not to mention useless.
