Hey all, our Water Adjustment class went well! There were no tears...(his OR mine :) We just kind of walked around in the water holding our respective babies and toddlers, but it was fun. He actually didn't want to leave. I'm glad my mom was able to come with us, as it was a total cluster in the locker room, and there were many classes going on at once in the pool. It will be harder the weeks when she isn't with us to help, but I'm sure we'll manage. Third world problems, etc, etc.
Here's a lovely pic my mom took in the locker room, me sans make up and complete with greasy hair. You're welcome. And I must say, I'm REALLY glad I bought the tankini and didn't wear a bikini; I would've been the only person there wearing one. Most were wearing serious Mom Suits or something reminiscent of what my grandma used to wear. Yikes. And yes, Liam did wear swim trunks in the pool! Ha

Friday Fun
And I use the word fun rather loosely, as I'm at work. You know, that job I'm getting laid off from. But! I'm making the best of it....by not doing work. Which isn't really very different from what I normally do. *ahem*
Also, this is the funniest book I've ever read.
I have never been a big fan of 30 R.ock. I think perhaps I don't fully "get" the humor. I am okay at admitting that perhaps it's just over my head. I also haven't given it much of a chance. But anyway. This book made me laugh out loud more than any other ever has, I'm certain. So awesome, must read!
Have a good weekend, y'all. I am going to a baby shower tomorrow that is 2.5 hours away. Eek. But I'm very, very happy for this couple, as they (well, mainly he) is one of my very best friends, and it's their first baby....which of course they conceived on their first month trying. Of course.

Will Run for Champagne
So I have pictures! (And that's about it!)
Check out my new shirt I won from She Likes Purple's site.
I will, in fact, run for champagne. True story. I may even run faster or further for a nice glass of Sauvingon Blanc!
I also got a new sweater today; I rewarded myself for a month of no shopping! I didn't do any shopping in January that didn't use a gift card and/or money I received for Christmas or my birthday. That's quite a big feat for me, people!
Old Navy sweater (on sale!) And the scarf, I actually made from an old t-shirt of D's. Go me! I found the link here on Style Lush, and it was so easy. I'm kind of addicted to them.
And here is Mr. Liam's new haircut.
I'm getting used to the hair I think! We also been working hard on the 'ole pacifier addiction. We have designated his 2 favorite areas of the house to play in--the unfinished part of the basement and our bed, as "binky-free" zones. He can only play there if he checks the binky at the door, and it's working! So I guess that is progress! He and I are also going to swimming lessons starting next Sunday! Well, a "Getting Used to the Water" class, so lessons is probably a bit of a strong word. In any case, I have to get in the water with him, which is fine, I used to be a lifeguard. However, the only swimsuits I have are bikinis. I wasn't sure if that was really "family class" appropriate. It's not like they are string bikinis, but still. So I got myself my very first tankini at Target today. It all feels very "mom-like"! Hopefully he will like the class ;)
That's about all, I guess. Kind of checking out at work these days....
Oh, and Femara? Makes me feel like a pile of dog shit. I guess I managed to block that out from last time. But sure enough, I checked my blog archives, and yep, it sucked then too. Man, the things we do.
